Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay for the Kids

The Easter Seals 24 Hour Relay for the kids is a major fundraiser of the BC Lions Society For Children with Disabilities. The Relay is an annual community based fundraising event that challenges teams of runners to run relay style for 24 hours in support of Easter Seals Camps throughout BC.
Teams of 20 or more people fundraise in the months leading up to the event and then run relay style from 10 am Saturday until 10 am Sunday on Relay weekend. But there is a lot more going on than just running for 24 hours. On Saturday throughout the day there is live entertainment, children’s activities and performers, volleyball and bocce tournaments, vendors and more. Through the night and wee hours of the morning there are even more entertainers and other activities to partake in such as a late night poker tournament.
