Our Wine Guy…
Keith Nicholson is our resident Wine Guy. A ton of restaurant and wine experience but he is anything but a wine snob.
A BC boy who has spent over 20 years in the restaurant business (he wants to add, he started really really young) he received his diploma from the International Sommelier Guild in 2005. just returning this past fall from whistler, where he was the wine director at the Bearfoot Bistro he is presently the Sommelier at Vancouver’s icon French Restaurant, Le Crocodile.
When not at work, talking wine, or teaching the Urban Rec Wine Club, his time off is spent doing ‘wine geeky’ things like traveling to wine country both here on the West Coast and to France and attending crazy wine events like the Society of Wine Educators Conference and Pinot Camp in Oregon. (Yup, that’s a long story, you should ask.)
