I have registered for a league, but I have to back out - Can I get a refund?
Urban Rec's Refund policy is a simple one - We only offer refunds if we are able to resell your team/individual spot to another team. There is a $50 administrative charge for any team refund and a $25 charge for individuals. If we cannot re-sell your team spot than there are no refunds.
How does Urban Rec determine what pool our team will be in?
Depending on the league each team will play a couple of weeks of games and based on their performance will be seeded into Pool A/B/C accordingly.
-
For soccer, teams will be seeded after 5/6 weeks
-
For Volleyball, team will be seeded after 3 weeks
Note: The number of pools will be determined by the number of teams in the league.
What is the importance of Key Tags? Where can they be used?
Key tags are how Urban Rec will determine if each member on the team has signed a waiver and is therefore eligible to play in the Urban Rec Leagues. Each player must bring the key tag to each of their games and show the Event Coordinator (Urban Rec Staff Member) prior to the start of the game.
How do I receive a key tag?
You will receive a key tag from your team captain during the first week of play, if you registered by the registration deadline for the season you are playing in.
What are other advantages of UR key tags?
Key tags can be used at all of the Urban Rec Clubhouses to receive 20% off all food items. Click here to see a list of all our UR Clubhouses.
Is Soccer/ Flag Football cancelled due to the rain?
Outdoor Soccer and Flag Football will NOT be cancelled due to rain. The only time these leagues will be cancelled will be during heavy snowfall. Urban Rec will contact the team captains to let them know of the cancellation. If the team captains have not heard from a UR staff member, the teams can assume they will be playing.
