Urban Rec is proud to support the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities, more commonly known as Easter Seals, for the upcoming 2012 year.
Easter Seals started in 1947 with the mandate to support children with disabilities throughout British Columbia. Through their various camps, transportation services, houses and other programs, they have empowered many children with disabilities and their families by enhancing their self-esteem, self-confidence and giving them a sense of independence.
Easter Seals holds many fundraising events throughout the year to ensure continual support and growth to their community. Urban Rec will be supporting Easter Seals during their fundraising efforts with a major contribution to the Vancouver 24 Hour Relay on June 16th/17th .
